Product map

Everything project controls needs after the schedule leaves P6

Not a single dashboard bolted onto email. P6 Made Easy is a full desk: consume Power BI, work the schedule, update progress, print packs, and ask the data questions — under one client login.

Smarter seat spend

Stop buying Primavera seats just so people can look

The people who need to see the plan — owners, PMs, field leads — should not need a full desktop license to open it. P6 Made Easy puts the live schedule in the browser, so you reserve paid seats for the planners who build and maintain the network, and still keep everyone else on the same truth.

  • Owners, PMs, and field leads open the live schedule in the browser — no desktop seat required just to look.
  • Keep paid Primavera licenses for the planners who build and maintain the network.
  • Share Gantt, progress, and Power BI from one portal instead of buying view-only seats across the org.
  • Prove it first: drop your own XER in the demo and see the desk before you expand access.
Cutting unnecessary software spend — fewer seats for view-only schedule access
Trim view-only seats. Keep planner licenses where they earn their keep.

Power BI portal

Live dashboards, workspace by workspace

Clients sign in, pick a report from their library, and open embedded Microsoft Power BI — no static exports, no shared passwords, no “latest PDF” scavenger hunt.

  • Sign in to a branded client portal — no Power BI desktop required for consumers
  • Browse a workspace report library and open live embeds in one click
  • Client organizations stay isolated; admins map workspaces, reports, and users
  • Mobile-friendly analytics for field leads and office project controls alike

Classic P6 theme

WBS, activity grid, Gantt, codes, and print — in one rhythm

Built for planners who still think in Primavera rows. Expand WBS, filter ACTVCODE, paint bars by status, lock to the data date, then page-setup a PDF or PNG for the meeting pack.

Schedule truth meets the field — Gantt, progress, and controls in one desk.
  • WBS activity board

Expand and collapse WBS groups, select activities, and keep the Gantt locked to the same row rhythm.

  • Gantt with data date

Zoom day / week / month, bar colors by status, optional bar dates and names, and a magenta data-date line from PROJECT.last_recalc_date.

  • Activity code filters

Filter from Code vals, the bottom Codes panel, or a full ACTVCODE modal with multi-select, sort, and column visibility.

  • Relations & detail tabs

Predecessors, successors, and activity details beside the board — layout and tables menus stay within reach.

  • Catalog tables

Browse supporting schedule catalogs without leaving the classic P6 theme workspace.

  • Print page setup

Page, margins, header, footer, and options (timescale, activity table, columns, grid lines, Gantt) with live preview.

Progress & credit

Weekly updates that respect how work is earned

Progress Update is the ritual: filter, group, enter % complete, attach notes, and apply rules of credit so earned progress matches the contract — then hand the story to leadership.

  • Progress Update grid

Filter and group activities, update percent complete, and keep weekly status aligned to the active import.

  • Rules of credit

Create multi-step credit definitions, assign usage, and earn progress the way the contract intends.

  • Activity notes

Capture field and planner commentary on activities so the update trail stays with the schedule.

  • Power BI progress theme

A progress-forward presentation theme for stakeholders who live in dashboards, not the Gantt.

Value curves

S-curves and baselines, not spreadsheet archaeology

Capture period planned, actual, and remaining values. Layer BL1–BL3 baselines. Present the curve executives expect without rebuilding charts every Friday afternoon.

  • Manual period values for planned, actual, and remaining
  • Baseline curves (BL1–BL3) for plan-vs-actual storytelling
  • Chart views including S-curve presentation for leadership
  • Local demo S-curve theme when you upload an XER without signing in

XER exchange

Inspect the file like a planner — without a desktop seat

Primavera’s XER is still the industry handoff. Open tables, understand relationships, export CSV, and keep a guide beside the tools when someone asks where a filter comes from — all in the browser.

  • Parse Primavera .xer files in the browser or persist imports for the client portal
  • Table browser across TASK, WBS, relationships, codes, and more
  • Friendly column names alongside database field names
  • CSV export from viewer tables for offline analysis
  • XER Guide covering tables, relations, and where filters come from

Schedule network

Logic quality before the next baseline freeze

Walk the full relationship register. Spot risky logic. Filter by relationship type. Pair it with the classic P6 predecessors and successors panels when you are deep in an activity.

  • Full relationship register across the imported schedule
  • Logic risk highlighting for planners reviewing quality
  • Search and relationship-type filters to isolate FS, SS, FF, and FF paths
  • Companion to classic P6 predecessors/successors on the activity desk

Schedule AI

Ask the schedule — typed or spoken

Schedule AI answers from the imports and activity data your organization already trusts: WBS, relations, notes, and rules — so questions stay grounded in the job, not a generic model.

  • Natural-language questions over schedule imports and activity data
  • Context across WBS, relations, notes, and rules of credit
  • Voice transcription for hands-busy update sessions
  • Answers grounded in the schedules your organization has imported

Vendors & activities

Rollups for packages — and a flat cut when you need it

  • Vendor-centric progress rollups derived from schedule structure

  • Flat activities board for quick scans outside the WBS tree

  • CSV export when stakeholders need a spreadsheet cut of the data

Admin & security

Multi-client programs without shared chaos

Admins register Power BI workspaces and reports, map clients and users, and control which theme fields and activity codes surface — so each organization stays in its lane.

  • Role-based access

Clients consume dashboards and schedule tools; admins manage the registry behind them.

  • Workspace isolation

Power BI workspaces and report assignments stay mapped per client organization.

  • Theme field control

Admins choose which filters and activity codes surface in Power BI theme experiences.

  • Secure embeds

Embedded analytics use controlled tokens — stakeholders never need raw dataset credentials.

FAQ

Straight answers about the portal

What is P6 Made Easy?

P6 Made Easy is a secure client portal by MPROCS Solutions for Primavera P6 schedule work and Power BI analytics. Teams sign in to browse reports, work classic P6 views, update progress, review logic, export Gantt packs, and ask Schedule AI — without scattering tools across desktops and email.

Is this a replacement for Oracle Primavera P6?

No. Schedulers still plan and maintain networks in Primavera P6. P6 Made Easy is the browser portal for consuming schedules, updating progress, exploring logic, printing Gantt layouts, and delivering Power BI dashboards to stakeholders.

What can I try without an account?

The interactive demo lets you upload a .xer in your browser, inspect tables in the XER Viewer, then open Progress Update, classic P6 Activities with relationships, and an S-curve. Demo mode stays local — nothing is uploaded or saved to our servers.

Which schedule tools are included after sign-in?

Signed-in clients can use the Power BI report library, Progress Update, Rules of Credit, Value Curves, XER Viewer and Guide, Activities board, Vendors, Schedule View / Gantt, Schedule Network, Schedule AI, and experimental themes including the full classic P6 theme with print/export.

How does printing and export work?

In the classic P6 theme Gantt, Page Setup offers page size, orientation, margins, header, footer, and options such as timescale range, activity table, columns, grid lines, and Gantt chart. You can preview, export PNG or PDF, or print.

How do activity codes and filters work?

Filter from code values in the UI, from the Codes detail panel, or through the ACTVCODE modal with search, multi-select, sorting, and column visibility. Admins can also configure which theme fields and codes appear for Power BI theme experiences.

Do stakeholders need a Primavera P6 license to view the schedule?

No. Planners still author and maintain the network in Primavera P6, but owners, PMs, and reviewers can open the schedule, progress views, and Power BI dashboards in P6 Made Easy through the browser. That means fewer seats purchased only for looking — and more of the program staying aligned to the same plan.

How does MPROCS connect P6 to Power BI?

MPROCS configures your P6 data pipeline, Power BI datasets, and workspace security. Each client organization receives isolated access to their reports through the portal with embedded Microsoft Power BI.

Can we have multiple reports per client?

Yes. Each client workspace can include multiple Power BI reports. Users sign in and select the dashboard they need — schedule summary, lookahead, cost integration, or custom views configured by MPROCS.

Who is the portal designed for?

EPC contractors, industrial owners, engineering firms, and capital project teams who use Primavera P6 and need both planner-grade schedule tools and executive-ready reporting for the wider program.

Does MPROCS provide implementation support?

Yes. MPROCS Solutions offers project controls consulting — schedule setup, dashboard design, client onboarding, forensic delay support, and ongoing program support for industrial and capital work.
